Hello Senior Students & Parents,
This is just a reminder that scholarship applications are due FRIDAY, APRIL 19, 2024 by 2:00pm.
Below you will find an online link for the 2024 GPHS Band Booster Senior Scholarships. Depending on how many applications we receive, the Band Boosters award up to (3) $500 scholarships to qualified graduating seniors.
The intent of the award is to recognize those students who have been active in the GPHS band program and who have represented the GPHS music program in outside activities.
All GPHS seniors currently enrolled in the instrumental music program are encouraged to apply. We have kept the application to a minimum; however, the following conditions must be met to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Must be a senior at GPHS this year, planning to attend a college, a university or a vocational program Fall term of 2024.
- Must be enrolled in a Band class senior year.
- Must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.75 (will be verified)
- Must have lettered in band at least once during high school
(Planned future areas of study are not part of the criteria. The scholarship committee will only recognize the positive contributions made to the GPHS band program during your years at GPHS. The scholarship committee will be made aware that not all activities were available during covid/quarantine years.)

NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED!
The scholarship winners will be announced at the Band Banquet on May 27th.

PS..To keep the selection process as impartial as possible and to keep your identities hidden from the selection committee, we prefer and recommend that you fill out and submit this form via the link provided. If for some reason you need a physical copy to fill out by hand, please email the boosters at: gphsbandboosters@gmail.com and we will provide one for you. The same deadline applies so factor in some extra time to get it to us.
