All fundraisers are run through the GPHS Band Boosters. Please see below for Current, Upcoming and Ongoing fundraisers. Group fundraisers raise funds for the band program as a whole. Individual Fundraisers allow students to raise funds that will be placed in their personal fundraising accounts.

Group Fundraisers
Fly Me to the Moon Swing Dance
This dance benefits our school’s music program! A super-nice thing about this fundraiser is that our kids are performing music for you and the community to enjoy! There are many ways to help: buy a ticket! (you don’t have to dance–you can just enjoy the music!), volunteer, spread the word, buy a lighted memorial star . . . or just send a donation to say “you support them playing and performing!” Thank you!
Dance details:
- Saturday, January 19th: Join the GPHS Jazz bands, combos, and Valley View Jazz Band from 6-10pm for the 10th annual Swing Dance. If you enjoy Big Band music, this is the event for you! The theme is “Fly Me to the Moon” and there will be an hour-long dance lesson before the bands take the stage.
- Door Prize tickets will be given out with each entry and prizes will be awarded throughout the night. Desserts and other refreshments will be provided, including Italian Sodas for a small cost. Tickets are on sale at the door and are $10 for an individual, $5 for students, military and seniors 60+. Family discount is $20 per family.
- We need donations and volunteers to make this happen! Please go to Charms to sign up and help make this event our best one yet: January Swing Dance Charms Sign-Ups.

Chocolate Fundraiser
Hello Band Families,
Happy New Year! The band will be selling chocolate bars again this year to help students earn money for the Big Trip. This is an individual fundraiser, so all funds will be put into the individual accounts on charms and can be used for any band expenses.
We will be selling The World’s Finest Chocolate, and it arrives this Friday the 4th.
Chocolate bars sell for $1 each
Each box is $60 (60 bars) with the following flavors/bar counts in each box:
18 Caramel
12 Almond
12 Crisp
12 Milk Chocolate
6 Dark Chocolate

$30 of each box goes into the students individual account to be used towards any band expenses.
All chocolate is to be picked up before or after the 4 Friday night basketball games in January. There are other band events in February that will be possible for pick up/delivery that will be shared later.
***Please note: School Policy does not allow Chocolate to be sold during the school day!***
All money is to be turned in before or after the 4 basketball games in January. There will be other events in February that will be available for Money to be turned in as well.
All money, or any sealed (unopened) boxes must be returned by March 1st. (Only unopened boxes will be accepted for refund)
Mr. Morris cannot accept any money. NO money can be left in boosters’ box at school. And the GPHS office will not accept money.
A receipt with the amount due will be issued upon receiving the chocolate. A receipt showing balance is paid and any outstanding balance will be issued when money is turned in.
