Dear Grizzly Band Families,
Additional parent volunteers are needed for the Mill Creek Veterans Day Parade this Friday, November 10th for instrument transportation and chaperoning students. Additional info below. Visit grizzlyband.org/volunteer to signup.
Instrument Transportation (2-3): If you have a van, truck, or SUV, we need your help transporting larger instruments to Mill Creek Town Center. You need to arrive at GP by 9:30am to assist students with loading their instruments into your vehicle. You’ll follow the busses to Mill Creek Town Center and assist students with unloading their instruments for the parade and reloading them to travel back to GP.
Bus Chaperones (2-4): (We need at least one more bus chaperone.) You need to arrive at GP by 9:30am and assist with getting students on the buses in a timely manner. You’ll ride along with the students to/from Mill Creek Town Center, help maintain order in staging area prior start of parade, and direct students return to busses after parade.
Without the help of volunteer parents like you, it would be close to impossible to run the behind the scenes coordination and event planning that support our GP band family. Already going the parade, please consider volunteering your time to support your band student and the Grizzly Band.
