Band Happenings week of 8/21/23

Hello Grizzly Band Families!

Here are some events to mark on your calendar, information about upcoming donation and volunteer needs, and an important reminder about Grizzly Band uniforms. Grizzly Band students are required to wear black socks and all black shoes with their Grizzly Band uniforms. 

Important upcoming DATES: 
Tuesday, August 22nd & Wednesday, August 23rd 
Student Startup – ALL Grizzly Band Students are required to purchase an ASB Card.

This year we have the opportunity to greet GP Band Students (new & returning) at Student Startup. The Grizzly Band Student Leadership has done a great job filling all the student volunteer positions, but we still need a few parent volunteers. Visit grizzlyband.org/volunteer for more information and to signup.

Thursday, August 24th  7-9pm  GP practice field
Rehearsal – Grizzly Band*

*Students should arrive at 6:45pm and be ready to begin 7pm. Attendance will be taken at the field.

Thursday, August 31st  7-9pm  GP practice field
Rehearsal – Grizzly Band*

Friday, September 1st  3-10pm 
GP Football vs Snohomish – Grizzly Band
Students will meet at GPHS at 3pm and bus over to Snohomish HS for rehearsal with the SHS Band. Dinner will be provided by Band Boosters and families (from both schools) after rehearsal/before the game. Donation and volunteer needs are posted at grizzlyband.org/volunteer.

BAND PHOTOS:
If you ordered an individual band photo of your student, you should have received an  email from our photographer, Jason Kim,  with instructions on how to view your student’s photos. In addition, all group photos are available HERE. These files are for you to download and keep. However, they will only be available for 3 months. If you have any questions about the photos, please email Jason directly at jasonjkimphotography@gmail.com
