Below is a list of upcoming events to put on your calendar. The events are listed in date order and indicate which band(s) are called below the date. Stay current with the GP Band Happenings by following the GPHS Band Boosters on Facebook and Instagram or visit grizzlyband.org.
NEW this week—Holiday Poinsettia & Wreath Fundraiser ends Friday, October 27th!!
ALL GP Band students can participate in this fundraiser and receive approximately 75% of the proceeds from their net sales in “Band Dollars” to use towards their band expenses such as trips, festivals, band camp, etc. This year, we’ve created an online order form giving students the opportunity to accept credit card payments OR use the printable order form for cash/check payments. Cash payments should be exact change, checks should be made payable to “GP Band Boosters.” Please DO NOT give any order forms/payments to Mr. Morris. Order forms with Cash/Check payments can be turned in this Thursday (10/26) before Grizzly Band rehearsal or to Char in GP Main office no later than Friday (10/27) @Noon. Online orders will close Friday (10/27) @Midnight
Important upcoming DATES:
Thursday, October 26th 7-9pm
Grizzly Band
Rehearsal—Students should arrive at 6:45pm and be ready to begin 7pm. Attendance will be taken at the field (or in the Band Room hallway if rehearsal is moved indoors).
..Check/Cash orders for Holiday Wreath & Poinsettia orders can be turned in to Band Booster Fundraising Coordinator, Darci Halverson, before rehearsal.
Friday, October 27th 5-10pm
Grizzly Band
FB vs Lake Stevens—Students meet at GPHS at 5pm to change into uniforms before loading busses to Veterans Memorial Stadium. After the game, students will return to GP to change out of and hang uniforms. Remember to wear black socks and all black shoes. Attendance will be taken in the Band Room hallway. Volunteers needed. Visit grizzlyband.org/volunteer to sign-up.

Student Band Hoodies are on sale now—November 17th!!
The Student Band Hoody is a Navy Hooded Sweatshirt with screen-printed “Grizzly Band” logo on front and “Paw” logo on sleeve. The cost is $37 for sizes S – XL ($45 for 2XL). Printed name on the back is optional and is an additional $9. This year, we’ve created an online order form to accept credit card payments AND a printable order form for cash/check payments. Cash payments should be exact change, checks should be made payable to “GP Band Boosters.” Paper orders with proper payment can be given to Char in the main office, (NOT the bookkeeper). Please DO NOT give any order forms/payments to Mr. Morris. Orders will be accepted thru Friday, November 17th to ensure delivery before Winter Break.
VOLUNTEERS needed for Swing Dance Organizing & Planning Committee
The Swing Dance is a community fundraising event that includes GPHS Jazz bands, VVMS jazz bands, and an hour of professional swing dance lessons to start the evening. This event takes place Saturday, January 20th in the GP Commons. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit grizzlyband.org/volunteer to sign-up or email the boosters at gphsbandboosters@gmail.com.
