Awards 2013-2014

Large Group Awards

Wind Ensemble earned a Superior rating at the MPMEA Senior Large Group Festival.

Symphonic Band earned a Gold Star at the Kiwanis Music Festival, and was invited to perform at the Canadian National Band Festival.

Glacier Peak Jazz 1 recorded for the KPLU School of Jazz CD, with featured artist, Eric Verlinde.

Glacier Peak Jazz 1 was invited to perform at the Seattle Jazz Experience Music Festival, sponsored by Cornish College of the Arts, and held at the Seattle Center. 

Glacier Peak Combined Band earned 4th place at Music in the Parks Festival, Couer D'Alene, ID. 

Glacier Peak Grizzly Drum Line earned 2nd place at BDX Drum Line competition, Garfield HS, Seattle.
