RAFFLE RESULTS
Dear GPHS Band Boosters,
Many thanks to everyone that helped make our first raffle a huge success. Because of your efforts in selling raffle tickets, we were able to sell over $6500 in tickets and exceed our budget goal of $5000. With the rising cost of transportation and other expenses, this money is crucial in keeping costs reasonable for yours and other band families. Hopefully we have established a tradition that can carry on for years to come and help guarantee that the GPHS band program has the funding that it needs.
The winning tickets were drawn on Tuesday, October 27ths at Applebee's Restaurant. Congratulations to the following winners!!
3rd place $100 cash card - Shawn Forsyth -Sold by Shari Prince
2nd place $250 cash card - Henry & Sandra Wheeler - Sold by Jodi Stebbins
1st place $500 cash card- Daphne & Steve Callahen - Sold by Amy Kersten
I would especially like to thank Venecia Grobelny and Stephanie Matheny for their help in collecting ticket packets, Tom Connelly at Mail N Beyond for his generous use of his store to distribute and collect ticket packets and Mr. Morris, the GPHS Band Booster board and the administration of Glacier Peak High School for their guidance and support.
Thank you again for your continued support of the GPHS Band Program!! We could not have done it without you.

Auction was a success!
The first annual Parent Club Auction was an amazing success. There were many parents and community members present at the elegant Everett Golf and Country Club for its inauguration event. The guests were entertained by the smooth tones of the GPHS Jazz I Band directed by Tadd Morris.
The auction was full of interesting and attractive items to bid upon. They included exotic trips to tropical destinations, consulting and other professional services, gourmet food and wine baskets, and countless other procured items from local merchants and retailers.
The auction as a whole raised $37,000! The Band Boosters raised almost $1,700 in total, and kept about $1,200 after the split with the Parent Club.
After such a successful first year, we are looking forward to procuring early and often in preparation for the auction in 2011!
